located in the small town of Riddle, Oregon. With more than four decades of experience, Carol creates one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces that reflect both craftsmanship and individuality.

Her work includes high-fire functional stoneware, decorative smoke-fired pottery and tiles, and Horsehair Raku, a low-fire technique where natural hair materials leave unique carbon markings on the surface of hot clay. Carol works with a variety of materials, including animal hair and, in special memorial pieces, human or pet hair.

Each piece is made by hand from start to finish—formed, trimmed, bisque fired, glazed, and fired again at temperatures up to cone 5–6 (approximately 2250°F). No two pieces are ever exactly alike, and every step of the process is done with intention and care.
